Purchased in February, this wine opener was dead by September. First, one of its components fell off, and was impossible to put back on. It still worked, and when it was working it was a great product. But then, in normal use, one of its "arms" broke off, and that was that. It's inexpensive and a good design, but I'd say the materials fall short. Also, the manufacturer is impossible to contact -- there's no website.

It took a while to get shipped. The packaging was utilitarian. HOWEVER, having opened my first bottle with this opener last evening, it was perfect. The easiest opening I have ever had and I've opened thousands.

I liked this a lot, infortuantely, one day the nhandle just broke in two.
Perhaps they should put a metal rod, or similar reinforcement, inside the plastic handle.
Surprised others haven't had the same experience.
